An unplanned pregnancy can feel like the ground has shifted under you. Questions stack up quickly: How will I afford this? Who can I trust? What should I do next?

It takes courage to start looking for answers, and the encouraging news is that real support is already in place for women in your situation.

Medical and Emotional Support

Before you make any decisions, you need clear information about your health and pregnancy.

At Options Pregnancy Clinic, our free, confidential appointments include medical-grade pregnancy testing and limited obstetric ultrasounds to confirm whether your pregnancy is viable and how far along you are. We also offer free STI testing, since untreated infections can affect both you and your pregnancy.

Just as important, our team will sit with you, listen, and help you think through every option without pressure.

Community and Practical Help

Beyond early pregnancy medical services, there are several options in your community for support.

Pregnancy centers, churches, and nonprofit programs across the Branson and Forsyth area provide diapers, baby clothes, formula, maternity supplies, and parenting education.

Many of these programs also build community around new moms, so you are not navigating any of it on your own.

Our Support Services at Options bring much of this under one roof. You can receive maternity and infant supplies, attend pregnancy and parenting classes through Options Prep University, connect with a mentor, and even invite your partner to take part in Dad Prep University. Our support continues for nearly two years after birth.

Government Assistance Programs

In addition to the community support you receive, several government programs can help ease the financial burden.

Medicaid offers free or low-cost health coverage for pregnant women, including prenatal visits, lab work, and delivery. In Missouri, the MO HealthNet program extends this coverage through pregnancy and for a period after birth.

WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) provides free food, formula, and nutrition guidance for pregnant women and mothers of young children.

TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) provides cash assistance to pregnant women and families to help cover housing, food, clothing, and other essentials.

You Are Not on Your Own

Facing an unplanned pregnancy does not mean facing it alone. Information, financial help, and people who genuinely care are within reach, and choosing to ask for that help is its own kind of courage.
